Here’s a cute short created with Blender, with some work with Photoshop and After Effects. It was a senior thesis project but was masterfully produced. According to the description, it is “a magical tale based on the Chango myth explaining how the mist of the city of Antofagasta (known locals as the Camanchaca) came to be.”

They only had five days to produce the CG for this short clip for the Film Riot Movie Challenge, all done in Blender. But it came out spectacular, IMHO. And anything with dinosaurs just has to be cool. The end result was a convincing recreation of the initial T-Rex scene in Jurassic Park. Here is the breakdown of how the T-Rex was made and animated for it.
