The love of his life now exists at the mercy of an evil goddess. His new home is under constant attack in his name. And Earth knows his little secret and now hates him. How much worse can it get?

Steven had escaped the clutches of an evil goddess, only to find his parents and his wife still in her custody. Whatever good will he had developed on Earth and in the alien society has fizzled away. Not that it matters anymore. If his wife dies, so does over a hundred thousand years of history.

Steven returns to an occupied Earth. The War had been brief, but utterly devastating and now his new friends have taken control under the pretext of mopping up the last of the enemy. The global sentiment simmers. His return becomes the spark that unleashes yet another global conflict, largely aimed at him. In the alien society that had largely spurned him, war has erupted to punish them for how they treated Steven. Sentiments there grow against him as well.

No matter where he turns, he is hated. All Steven Crow wants is to rescue his wife and parents from the evil goddess. But he is isolated more and more as the vise of hatred squeezes him from all sides. And the evil goddess has named him The Destroyer.

The existence of time now rests on him, and yet he is the cause of its impending doom. Faced with an impossible choice, where there are no good options, how can Steven Crow succeed?
